Media Places More on Body Shape Instead of Creativity – Actress Nazo Ekezie

Actress Nazo Ekezie

Ekezie has revealed that one thing killing Nollywood is practitioners’ placement of physical appearance above talent. The curvy Anambra State born beauty made this known when she was asked on the issues affecting the film industry.

According to her, “I am a damn good actress , but a lot of media space is been wasted on female body parts instead of the value of our work”.

When asked about her current job, she responded: “I have finishing producing ‘Flawed’ , a movie I believe is ground breaking and it will be out in January 2019.

Ekezie is disturbed by the trend in the industry in which “some people will talk about sex and body, without adding value to the entertainment sector”.
