Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area in Rivers State, David Rogers Irimagha, is dead.
Though the cause of his death could not be determined, sources said that he died in his sleep on Saturday.
“He was found dead in his sleep this morning,” a source, who spoke in confidence, said adding that the entire council had been thrown into mourning.
The deceased was among the second term chairmen inaugurated on April 2021 after Rivers local government election.
