Residents, vigilantes, security forces kill 100 terrorists in Niger community

Residents, vigilantes and Security Task Force have killed no fewer than 100 terrorists in Bangi community in Mariga local government area of Niger State

They killed the terrorists who invaded the community barely 48 hours after the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Nasko in Magama Local Government Area, Umar Dakingari was killed during an attack.

Report has it that the terrorists met stiff resistance when they tried to invade the community

Residents, who had heard about their advancement, were said to have informed the police and vigilantes, leading to a showdown with the terrorists

The fierce battle between the terrorists and the combined team of the security Taskforce, vigilantes and residents was said to have lasted for more than three hours during which many of the terrorists died.
