Actress Mary Njoku is happy the Super Eagles lost the Qatar 2022 World Cup ticket to Ghana on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles lost the ticket on away goal rule following a 1-1 draw with Black Stars of Ghana.
Njoku said the loss was right Eagles as it would help youths focus on more important issues in the country.
Njoku lamented the state of insecurity faced by the country following recent attacks on train and airport facilities in Kaduna State.
She said: “Thank God we didn’t qualify for the World Cup, it would have been a distraction.
“We need to focus on the real problems in Nigeria and pressure the government to do something. An attack on a train, an attack at the airport.
“The insecurity in Nigeria is alarming! No more unnecessary distractions!! This needs everyone’s attention,” she wrote
