Ex- Presidential aspirant of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) , Datti Baba-Ahmed has been unveiled as vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party and running mate to the party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Peter Obi announced Baba-Ahmed as his running mate at the LP national headquarters in Abuja on Friday.
Solacebase reports that the 46 year old Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, the founder of Baze University, Abuja, was a former House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007, representing Zaria Federal Constituency.
In 2011, he was elected as the Senator for Kaduna North Senatorial District but his election was overturned by the Electoral Tribunal in 2012.
Baba Ahmed is a graduate of Economics from the University of Maiduguri.
