NAIRA SCARCITY: Rights Activists Shut Down CBN In Edo State

Following the scarcity of the new naira notes and the hardship that has come with its unavailability across the nation, aggrieved Edo state residents, led by human rights activists, Tuesday, shut down the central bank of Nigeria as well as other activities on the ever busy Akpakpava road in Benin city.

The protest march according to the organisers was to send a message to the CBN that the implementation of the policy has brought untold hardship to Nigerians across board.
Clearview TV correspondent, Nafeesah Bello completes the report.
